Knotted Locs is small sections of strands created with precise and diverse fusion of knots. The results is small health dreads or locs with no fixed grid lines making Knotted Locs extremely adaptable and low maintenance.

Holes in locks have been eliminated with Knotted Locs which has meant, in five years of it's existence our #SmallSizeLocs are at their strongest.

Knotted Locs exists because after 7 yrs of 100% interlocking I was fed up of my soft and some stubborn curly strands continually unravelling when wet.
I also discovered some strands are too rebellious when interlocked, after 7yrs of Sisterlocks some locs were still unravelling! Length was not very evident. These strands are usually thick and loose wavy, they look almost straight with a bend or two along each strand, cuticles appear to be smooth. These strands struggle with Sisterlocks and being interlocked. They never locked up.

Knotted Locs has been very successful with reducing unravelling with loose wavy thick strands.
Knotted Locs exists because it was time we gained a new hair locking method that was more resilient, adaptable to our lifestyle and grew with us staying strong and abundant through out our #smallsizelocks journey.

5 yrs on, Knotted Locs has significantly reduced unravelling to all areas of our strands including the soft and wavy African textured hairs.
Reducing unravelling with Knotted Locs means, we can wash our #SmallSizeLocs as often as we choose to. Flaking, dry scalp and dandruff issues have vanished! Our hygiene level practices have soured since converting our Sisterlocks to Knotted Locs! All scalp conditions have gone.

Knotted Locs has enabled all dry scalp conditions to be eliminated, simply because you can shampoo or thoroughly rinse your locs everytime your scalp begins to itch. Scratching your scalp is a signal to wash your locs.
Rinse Out Conditioners can be used on Knotted Locs, they help keep our #smallsizelocs separated for longer, try separating your Knotted Locs immediately after your conditioner rinse, like magic, each Locs separates, especially if you have been continually wetting, oiling and separating your growth. You will find rinse out conditioners are great for Knotted Locs!
Knotted Locs can be saturated in water every day. This means your #smallsizelocks can be successful separated whilst wet and in water.

Oil helps keep water from evaporating from our curly strands, it enables our Knotted Locs to stay hydrated for much longer. It also encourages longer separation of our regrowth.

This successful practice of watering and oiling our Knotted Locs with no worries of our #smallsizelocs ever unravelling means, we do not have to re-lock our Knotted Locs often. 6-8 weeks can be too much for many sensitive heads. Leaving our locs alone is an important part of creating adaptable, strong and abundant #smallsizelocks.
Knotted Locs is the healthiest form of wearing #smallsizelocs because disturbance to our scalp and follicle roots is minimal and never re-locked tight or close to scalp because the knots don't move. During my teaching and re-locking sessions, I encourage room at the follicles base area of the freshly re-locked loc, so our scalps can breathe with ease.
With Knotted Locs, the knots stay locked in speeding up the locking process. This means my clients can swim next the day after their re-locking session and they can also wash their locs immediately if they so choose.
